The lead-in to announcing season 12s winner (spoiler: Chris Blue!!)
was no less lengthy, but it was packed with some pretty entertaining performances.

Lets walk through who sang what and how before we talk about those results.
Jesse Larsonand CeeLo Green Shining Star by Earth, Wind and Fire: Welp.
Both have that sharp funk-soul factor on full blast, and they bleed right into one anothers segments.
Its such an obvious pairing that its almost meta.
Really,reallygood performance by these two.
Chris Blue and Usher Everybody Hurts by R.E.M.
Theres something a little off about his contribution to this duet, and she seems to sense it.
It sure was for anyone within earshot of this feel-good duet.
Chris was the last one chosen to join this season, and hes the last one standing.
How fitting is that?
