FX to end vampire thriller after next summer’s season 4
FXs vampire apocalypse has an end date.
FXsThe Strainhas been renewed for a fourth season.
Thats the good news.

The downside is that it will be the shows final season.
Our original plan was for the series to last three years.
Once we began telling that story it expanded to be more.
We have a fantastic plan for an exciting and climatic season four.
The third season ofThe Strainis currently airing on FX on Sunday nights.
The current third season was reduced from the shows usual 13 episodes to 10.
No word yet how many episodes the final season will feature.
But the show will return one more time next summer.
