At this point weve all seen more than enough movies and TV shows about the flesh-devouring undead.

Their moment of peak pop-cultural saturation has come and gone.

It was a nice run while it lasted.

But theres only so many ways to tell the same story.

What makes McCarthys dystopia fresh is its wicked set-up.

She certainly doesnt look dangerous.

So why is she being treated like Hannibal Lecter?
