So now that its actually happening, its really exciting.

What was that prep like for the episode? We didnt have much prep.

I like that energy.

Thats the way it should be, and thats how it feels when youre doing a musical onstage sometimes.

How much time do you think you spent learning choreography? Not as much as you would think.

That immediately came back.

What was it like getting to reunite with Darren?I could not be happier that hes here.

Hes killing this role.

Hes bringing such a fun energy to set, the way he did onGleeas well.

We interacted quite a bit onGlee.

Its obviously a different dynamic now, but nevertheless its a low-key artists net.

Barry and Kara are thrust into this movie musical. That weve created in our own minds.

In the first crossover betweenSupergirlandThe Flash, Kara and Barry learned things from each other.

Youll see that it grows on them in a really fun way.

They get silly and goofy, and thats definitely what this is.

Hes very mysterious and more magical than violent.

Whats been the hardest part about doing the musical so far? There hasnt been.

I mean the hardest part is just the sheer massive amount of work there is to do.

Im getting to do what I love that it doesnt feel like work.

But the hardest part is just theres so much to do that it gets overwhelming sometimes.

Will this play the way I see it in my head?

In the musical, you have this 40s ambiance and great costumes.

Its very different from what you normally do as Supergirl. Its a nice departure.

It feels really good.
