Cyborg Superman overpowers Kara, after which she finds herself inside a cage besides Mon-El.
So, yes, this is mostly about revenge, which can be a weak motivation.
For her, its not only about revenge but also the greater good, which is kind of scary.

The Cadmus guards return a weakened Supergirl back to her cell.
Shes just assuming they plan on killing her.
After removing the lead bullet from Mon-Els leg, he helps them escape.
First, theres Phillip Karnowsky, a military vet whose wife was murdered.
Guardian manages to clear his name, though, by the end of the episode.
Alex tests his blood and Jonn discovers the truth: Mgann is a White Martian.
Jonn furiously confronts Mgann as she leaves work.
Jonn forces Mgann to transform into her White Martian form before attacking her.
Its a powerful scene because we rarely see Jonn lose it like this.
Instead, he decides to let her rot inside a DEO cell.
Unfortunately, this confrontation with Mgann doesnt solve Jonns problems.
Mgann says theres nothing he can do to stop it, but we know theyll find a way.
As the episode ends, the rest of team Supergirl gathers at Karas apartment for dinner.
Alex is moved and agrees to meet up for pool the next day.
