But one thing that remains the same is Erics search for the truth.

And, after tonight, he may have found out more than he originally hoped to.

Thats funny, because as Eric kindly points out, Kate didnt handle investments.

Whats also interesting is how quickly Mark skated away after Eric revealed Kate was dead.

Patrick does some digging and finds Marks drivers license and address.

Eric, being Eric, decides to make a house call to ask him a few questions.

Thats when he discovers Mark is married to Belinda (Romy Rosemont), a.k.a.

the suspicious woman seen in security footage from the party on the night Kate was murdered.

The two had lunch at a diner when she basically told Kate to stay far away from her son.

But lets hold on to that little bundle of knowledge for just a second.

Enter: Charlie (Cody Longo).

Charlie knew who Kate was and he knew who Eric was, too.

She manages to weasel her way out of choosing either one.

Cornell denies it pretty well, as it actually turns out to be the truth.

She pretty much dismisses him, claiming theres not much she can do to help him anymore.

Since this is Danny were talking about, I have a strong feeling this isnt going to end well.

Later, Ethan shows up at the police station as Cornell has a mini-outburst in front her coworkers.

But thats expected, right?
