My Friend Dahmeris basically the coming of age story of Jeffrey Dahmer,Lynch told EW last month.
I play Jeffrey Dahmer around his high school years.
[Its about] how he became the serial killer that we know him to be.
I was looking for a role that would somewhat be a challenge for me.
And I had a really good time doing it.
I have to thank Derf for entrusting me with his story, says Meyers.
Its a powerful book, which has deeply resonated with loads of people of many ages here and abroad.
When we first met, he signed my hardcover copy, Dont fk it up!!
Adapting it has been an extraordinary experience and wonderful challenge.
And now, Im very thrilled to collaborate with our new friends over at FilmRise.
