Saturday Night Liveis apparently sticking with portraying Steve Bannon as the Grim Reaper because Rosie O’Donnell will not be playing President Donald Trump’s controversial chief strategist this week, her rep confirmed to EW.

Interest in seeing O’Donnell, who has long feuded with Trump, play Bannon began over the weekendafter she nominated herselfto do so on Twitter.

She then continued to fan the flame bychanging her Twitter avatarto a picture of her face photoshopped onto Bannon’s body.

O’Donnell offered her services to the NBC late night show afterPoliticoreported that Trump who sometimesmoonlights asanSNLcritic was"rattled"byMelissa McCarthy’s surprise portrayal of White House Press Secretary Sean Spiceron last week’s episode.

According to the political publication, Trump found the fact that Spicer was played by a woman “problematic.”
