Preachershowrunner says season 2 is 'no less crazy'

An entire town wiped off the face of the planet by exploding cow excrement.

Thefirst seasonof AMCs comic book adaptationPreacherhad no shortage of craziness.

And showrunner Sam Catlin insists season 2, which premieres June 25, will be every bit as weird.

Its just a sign of the decay of American civilization that theyre letting us do this stuff.

Theyve sort of fallen asleep at the switch.

No, Im being facetious of course.

Theyve been great, and its a crazy show, and its certainly no less crazy this season.

Season 2 hits the road, says Catlin.

It basically starts where the comic starts, in a lot of ways.

So, that is where we start.

Were out into the wide wide world after sort of being cooped up in this little town.

So thats been a lot of fun.

We get to shoot in New Orleans, which weve loved doing.

I like to say, Its no more money, but its much bigger!'
