The CWs charming-ish dramedyNo Tomorrowgot off to a rough start in the ratings Tuesday night as the fifth broadcast online grid came back online for its fall season.

First,The Flashreturned to 3.1 million viewers and a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 thats down about 14 percent from last year.

Then at 9 p.m., the pre-apocalyptic new romantic comedyNo Tomorrowdelivered only 1.6 million viewers and a 0.5 rating down 29 percent from the debut ofiZombiein this slot last year.

No Tomorrowwas launched up against the vice presidential debate, so The CW team presumably thought its audience wouldnt be interested in watching the election sparring match (and were either wrong andNo Tomorrowsuffered for it; or they were correct, but not manyThe Flashfans were interested in sticking around for their new show anyway).

The CW is the most ratings flexible of the major broadcasters, however, and theres always the coming weeks of episodes to measure as well.
