People arent being honest with their feelings.
Theyre holding things in; theyre not saying it plainly.
Im saying, Listen, my feelings matter.
The objective is unity.
Im not into the mean comedy thats just, Everybody is stupid.
Is there anything that offendsyou?Yes.
But, also, Im okay with it.
And I dont believe that.
If something offends me, Im just offended, and thats about it.
I can deal with that.
Im not going to explode, Im not going to die.

Is that a positive?Its always a positive thing.
I think comedy is always changing and sensibilities are changing and sometimes peoples ears are changing.
Whats expected is different.
But as a performer, for material, yes, its a golden age.
It feels like the world is on fire.
Somebodys gotta tell the truth.
Its not going to be the news.
Our job is to make fun of people.
Thats what we do.
If Hillary Clinton won, wed rip her apart too, just because thats what we do.
Trump is a little more fun to cover.
Its so easy to just to get on a Trump-bashing [spree] all season or his entire presidency.
But is that interesting comedy?
Do you really just want to hear 90 minutes of Trump is orange jokes?
And Trumps got a little dk jokes?
Like, who cares?
Lets see past that.
I think weve done that for decades already; weve made fun of Trump for decades.
They also watch our show.
And this show is for everybody.
Were not here to just play to the college liberal kids.
Were here to play for everybody.
And weve got to find a way to get everybody to laugh at the same time.
