Mariah Carey stops singing in live NYE performance: 'We can't hear'

Visibly frustrated, Carey added: “I want a holiday, too.

I’m trying to be a good sport here.”

Carey addressed the crowd when the song ended, saying sarcastically, “That was… Next up was her hit “We Belong Together.”

“Bring the feathers on yes!”

she said, surrounded by oversized props as the performance ended.

“You just don’t get any better.”

Carey addressed the snafus on social media after the video of her performance went viral.

“Sh happens,” she wrote on Twitter.

“Have a happy and healthy new year everybody!
