Warner Bros. is hungry for another helping ofLittle Shop of Horrors, and Greg Berlanti will aim to satisfy the craving.
EW has confirmed the studio is developing a new movie musical based on the campy tale of a nerdy florist and his man-eating plant, with Berlanti attached to direct.
Best known as the uber-producer behind such DC Comics-inspired TV shows asArrow,The Flash,Legends of Tomorrow, andSupergirl, Berlanti previously helmed the 2010 romantic comedyLife as We Know It.

His take onLittle Shop of Horrorswould be the third to grace the silver screen, following Frank Ozs 1986 musical horror-comedy (based on Alan Menken and Howard Ashmans stage version) and Roger Cormans original 1960 low-budget farce.
Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying) is writing the script for the new film, and Marc Platt (La La Land) is producing.
