Artist Jason Mecier crafted the Real Housewives portraits for National Noodle and Pasta Days
The Real Housewives are known to try the latest in beauty regimens, and artist Jason Mecier is adding some starch to their facial treatments, recreating their portraits with macaroni.
Leading up to National Noodle Day on Oct. 6 and National Pasta Day on Oct. 17, the pop artist has created a gallery of reality TV stars from the Bravo world out of pasta.
The Real Housewives of Macaroni exhibit features several of the leading ladies from the hit franchises, includingThe Real Housewives of Orange Countys Vicki Gunvalson and Heather Dubrow,Beverly Hills Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna, Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer fromNew York, and even the most recent addition to the fold,Dallas Brandi Redmond.

The Food online grid Award-nominee whose work also includes portraits ofPresident Obama and then-Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney made from beef jerky created the concoctions to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his celebrity food art.
In the 90s he handcrafted hundreds of bean and noodle mosaics of his favorite TV stars, including Mary Tyler Moore, and theLove BoatandCharlies Angelscasts.
Fans can see the full gallery when it opens Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. PT at the Dog Eared Books Castro in San Francisco.
