The late-night host offered the White House press secretary’s inner monologue.
Jimmy Kimmelpresumed the primary rule at White House press secretary school was “never defend Hitler.”
But Sean Spicer already had trouble with that one.
“You had someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn’t sink to using chemical weapons.”
As a recording of the briefing aired, a voiceover offered Spicer’s inner monologue during the moment.
“Did I just defend Hitler?
I think I did,” the fake monologue said.
“Why did I even do that?
Why even bring up the Holocaust.
At press secretary school, the one rule was never defend Hitler.”
“Sean Spicer’s probably the only press secretary who needs a press secretary,” Kimmel laughed.
