So from ABCs perspective, [the show] was an opportunity to connect moms and daughters.

Its bigger than just music, Kotecha says.

Its something that creates a community for girls and teenagers during that awkward time in their lives.

I think that helps them get through it…. Its so inspiring when youre a part of that.
