Its been a helluva year for Millie Bobby Brown.
She can be so vulnerable in a state of innocence and neglect.

It was heartbreaking to watch that and also play it.
Just to feel not loved and then she meets these boys.
Theres so many different feelings in the whole season.
I dont want to know about my arc.
Everything with Eleven was really instinctual.
Just little things like that made a story line for Eleven.
You have so little dialogue.
It wasnt even about the whole expression.
It was kind of like a mime.
So its so hard for somebody to say, Can you be sad and angry?
And right before the end, we need you to feel light and hope!
Is there one scene or moment from season 1 you feel particularly proud of?Absolutely.
That was the second scene in my entire career where I had to cry.
I remember the day so clearly because I was so nervous.
I really didnt think Id be able to cry.
Season 2 will be darker, and the fans will not be disappointed!
