Production on the episode, which will be shot in both Oahu and Atlanta, has begun.

This crossover has almost seemed inevitable since the dayMacGyverpremiered, says Peter Lenkov, executive producer on bothMacGyverandHawaii Five-0.
The idea for a crossover between the two CBS procedurals has been brewing for quite a while.
In November, Lenkov told EW that the two shows were actively trying to work out the logistics.
OnFive-0, were in season 7, he said.
Its just a matter of when.
MacGyverandHawaii Five-0air Fridays at 8 p.m.
ET and 9 p.m.
ET, respectively, on CBS.
