Hes obviously been dealing with this illness for quite some time and what do you guys think?

I dont know… Maybe… Well think about it.

What do you think?

I said, I think its a great idea.

So, it gave them more time to recoup and redeem through episodes 9 and 10.

It keeps popping up and it keeps coming to a head.

Are we going to give this illness some kind of closure?

It was never me saying, Hey, we should kill off a character!

Its right before you drop the line I have cancer and they cut, you know?

Some days it felt like, Oh, we arent showing any of the meat?

and around season 2 you really started to enjoy that and let the audience members put that together themselves.

As he dies, he hallucinates Donna and his daughters in his home.

I feel as though the metaphor man builds house, man dies is Gordon.

He struggled so much through his relationships and his work for the first three years.

Everythings working out great for him.

Its good to finally see Gordon at a place of contentment before he passes on.

Before he dies, hes pretty energized about Comets relaunch.

I think that hes done the work.

Im happy with this.

I dont necessarily need more.

What Im happy about is, me and you working together.

Everybody has to take a step back from work and check in with themselves and reality.

I love storytelling where very little is happening and so much is told through the camera.

All in all, I thought the writing was so good and so well done.

Even as actors, we really had to get together and talk about it to get underneath it.

If we didnt, they would obviously help us along.

They liked watching us figure out the dynamics of the episodes and the seasons and the characters.
