Does this mean theyre back together?
EW sat down with Luddington on set to get the scoop.
The fact that he chose not to [do anything physical] meant everything to her.
It showed her a lot of things.
He talks, in that conversation, about how he would never be violent with her.
For her, it means that she still feels safe.
She kisses Alex, so obviously theres some sort of step forward now with them.
I think that well have to wait and see.
But yes, I think its a toe in the water.
What does that mean for their living situation?Its interesting you say that.
So, were always wanting them to get back together, and Alex to move back into the loft.
And so I hope it happens, but I dont know; I havent read it yet.
Also, she now knows where he is.
So theres power in knowledge, and he feels very far away.
And yet he is coming back.They havent confirmed it.
ABC has not confirmed Matthew Morrison is coming back.
Thats all I can say, but Ill still give a shot to answer a question.
And I realize thats something she cant shake maybe until they do see each other again.
Its a very important story to tell.
So, well have to see, if they do meet, what that means for her.
Yeah, because would she want to turn to violence herself in that case?
We talked about that situation, actually, at the beginning of this season.
I dont think Jo ever wanted to be in a situation like that.
Do I think if she ever had to fight for her life she would?
Yes, I think that theres a lot of people that would.
Hopefully shes not ever put in that situation again.
Jo made it clear she doesnt have feelings for DeLuca in the premiere.
But I think that she does hope that they can be friends.
But now she may have ruined it.
Do you think time apart could heal those wounds?I think so.
I dont think of DeLuca as someone who holds a grudge.
What she likes about him is that he does seem straightforward and rational.
So hopefully time will heal those wounds, because I actually love those scenes of them as friends together.
I just dont think that Jo was ever in a place where she was really over Alex.
Then why would she sleep with that sub-intern?
How awkward will that be for her moving forward?Its awful.
