Tarbucks daughter, producer Jennifer Lane Connolly, confirmed her death to the AP Thursday.
In addition to playing Mother Superior Claudia onAHS, Tarbuck performed in two other Ryan Murphy hits,Nip/TuckandGlee.
Her projects included a Broadway production of Neil SimonsBrighton Beach Memoirsin the 1980s and Harold PintersLandscape and Silence.
