Game of Thronesis different from most other shows on TV not just because its one of the most popular shows on TV, as well as the reigning champion of Best Drama Series at the Emmys, but also because its set in a fantasy world several steps removed from ours.
As a result, its always a joy at awards shows to see the actors whom viewers are used to watching in medieval garb dress up clean in tuxes and dresses.
