Disney is eyeing the director of the big-screen musical adaptation ofHairsprayto work his magic on itsEnchantedsequel.
The cast also included Idina Menzel, Susan Sarandon, and Timothy Spall.
Shankman is no stranger to helming musicals, having broughtHairsprayto the big screen in 2007 andRock of Agesin 2012.
