I understand Betty White has something to do maybe not directly with the idea for this.

We found there was a ton of value in comedy represented by all ages.

Those are very important ones, but just as important is hearing Ali Wongs voice or W. Kamau Bells.

Which can actually make your job more difficult.It does.

I had no idea where going blue actually came from.

Some people have said that when comedians got sober, they werent as funny, or lost their edge.

The first episode is all about blue material.

Did you just want to get the risque stuff out of the way first?

[Laughs] I think so.

There are some interesting tidbits, but theres somereally funnystuff in every episode.

So we wanted to start with a bang [Laughs] so to speak.

After the Super Bowl, I found myself watching old episodes ofThe Honeymoooners.

I think good is good.

I dont think weve gotten necessarily more funny, its just evolved the way the world has evolved.

You look at the old footage of stuff onSNLwhere it was tough for women to get noticed onSNL.

Especially when a male costar was actively trying to hold them back.Exactly.
