John P Fleenor/FOX
“It’s fun to see Jake on the other side of the looking glass,” says Goor.
How does Jake manage his new environs?
“Jake is crafty and hes a survivor,” says Samberg.

John P Fleenor/FOX
“I was trying to remember that Jakes not me like, he actually is tough and street-smart.
Hes in a very precarious situation, but hes got his wiles.
But obviously, hes terrified as well.

John P Fleenor/FOX
Probably more than Rosa, even.”
(More on that in a bit.)
Were the producers worried that prison was too dark of a fate for Jake and Rosa?

John P Fleenor/FOX
And that danger abounds."
Jake will share close quarters with a cannibal.
Or maybe this is the beginning of an unusual friendship.

John P Fleenor/FOX
“Caleb is a cannibal who doesnt feel like that defines him,” says Goor.
“He would rather be defined by his passion, which is woodworking.
Also it should be noted he is a fan of unusual food, just like Charles.”

John P Fleenor/FOX
Especially because cannibalism is such an awful thing.
Two men have power in the pokey, and Jake is caught between them.
But, as Goor explains, “he finds himself between a rock and a hard place.

Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic
The rock is Romero and the hard place is the warden (Toby Huss).
The warden doesnt like Jake.
Samberg notes that Jake’s main objective is simply to stay alive.

John P Fleenor/FOX
“But it gets pretty hairy for him.
Hes definitely walking a very thin tightrope.
Hes like that guy fromMan on Wire, except hes not cheating on his wife.”

Jordin Althaus/FOX
Rosa gets some much-needed alone time in prison.
As it turns out, Rosa is having a slightly easier time in adjusting to jail.
Jake and Rosa won’t remain in captivity for long.

Jordin Althaus/FOX
“Its more than an episode but its not a lot of episodes,” shares Goor.
That said, the episodes we do in jail are really strong episodes that explore new dimensions.”
Meanwhile, the squad has a decision to make that will challenge their moral code.

Jordin Althaus/FOX
That shortcut involvesPrison Breakvet Paul Adelstein, whoguests as the head of a prominent crime family.
The gumshoes investigate shoes.
“It’s an old-school romp, but Jake faces unexpected complications.”

John P Fleenor/FOX
Treats and tricks await in the annual Halloween episode.
Its open to all takers."
“I love doing those episodes so much.

Jordin Althaus/FOX
Gina (Gershon) will be back sooner than later.
“She remains a worthy adversary early in the season,” says Goor.
“They do battle with her once again early in the season.”

Erica Parise/FOX
Gina (Linetti) will be back later than sooner.
But you’ll have to wait a bit to delve back into Linetti’s world.
A mysterious Jake-and-Amy story is in the works.

John P Fleenor/FOX
Will that happen again this season?
“We definitely deal with their relationship,” says Goor.
“Big changes” are ahead for Rosa and Pimento.

Jordin Althaus/FOX
What exactly is in store for these crazy, totally-off-the-rails lovers?
And what has Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas) been up to?
Is Charles charging into a second career?

John P Fleenor/FOX
The (Skyfire) circle of life: Terry goes undercover.
In unrelated Terry news, “yogurt plays a prominent part in his Halloween story.”
Amy will be promoted.

Greg Doherty/FilmMagic
“Wed like to figure out a way to keep her in the precinct,” says Goor.
Were conscious of the fact that sending her to a different precinct for more than episode is problematic.”
Is Holt headed for bigger things?

John P Fleenor/FOX
But this time he may have a dream job in his sights.
Its a positive pressure as opposed to a negative pressure, which weve done in the past."
Brooklyn Nine-Ninehits a big milestone this year.
“Whatever it is, it will end with all of them saying ‘Nine-Nine!’
at the end of it.”
Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) and Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) take inertia to new heights.
“Scully and Hitchcock spend over 48 hours on their butts,” says Goor.
