He believes hes the reason they were kidnapped, not Jane, whos naturally been thinking Sandstorm all along.

And who is Magnus Steele?

She finds a number of forged passports for Shepherd, showing that she was constantly on the move.

More interestingly, she only finds one for Roman, meaning that could be a necessary lead.

That passport was used for a single short trip to the Bahamas.

Roman was only on the ground for four hours.

Roman killed someone to get that money and help fund Sandstorms terrorist operations.

As heartbreaking as the story is, his plan to get revenge is pretty sinister.

Its a prisoners dilemma.

Basically, whoever pays up first, either Edith or Magnus, saves their own children.

That gives the captors a lot more leverage.

In other words, theres not much of a chance hes paying that ransom.

Theres nothing this woman cant do!

Just when things are starting to look up, everything goes to hell.

He wants his money.

So, off to the office they go!

Sure enough, back at the safe house with Jane, he does.

He remembers that he didnt kill anyone to gain access to the trust fund.

In fact, the money was listed as belonging to Alice Kruger, a.k.a.

Janes potential involvement isnt the only problem for the FBI.

Wellers team is being investigated for aiding and abetting terrorists.

Nowthatsthe juicy stuff that should inject some stakes into the last stretch of this season.
