Who did the actual animation, and how did you nail the look?
They sent a whole bunch of different kinds, and I didnt know a lot about animation.

It was a lengthy process.

Did you pick that one?
It was an easy pick.
I mean, what isJane the Virgingoing to show that people dont see on HBO or Showtime?
What nuances can we even show?
And also, Im so close to this character I wanted to give her some privacy.
I was always looking for something that was more representational.
So I knew all those things, but I didnt have an idea of what it would look like.
But at the same time, I didnt want it to be a very special episode.
But I didnt have any idea of how we would do it.
I just knew it was going to be something in our magical realism world.
So I think probably not.
