Black Siren joins Chase’s quest to torment Oliver (and on his birthday, too!)

Then a womans voice cuts through his anguish.
Now, to a happier time in the present.
Its Curtis, who whimpers, Happy birthday.
Everything hurts, as the rest of the team weakly yell, Surprise!
Curtis wants to see Florence the city in Italy, not the woman or her weird machines.
John wants to teach J.J. how to fish.
Felicity wants to spend time under the Pacific Crest Trail stars, followed by a mani/pedi.
Oliver just wants to buy some socks.
(This is not a euphemism; the man needs socks, okay?)
She urges him to relax and enjoy their victory over Chase, reaching up to loosen his tie.
Its playful and intimate and, perMarc Guggenheims Twitter, was completely unscripted.
Renes gone, too, and Oliver and John realize that this was Chases plan all along.
Worse, since hes locked up, he must have help.
This is confirmed when Oliver finds a League of Assassins arrow, which tells him Talias in town.
Oliver storms to Chases cell to ask where they are.
Its a supervillain mystery.

Shes dressed like our Laurel, and she calls Quentin Daddy.
Still, she also worries that his handcuffs are too tight.
When he scoffs, she asks, You think this isnt hard for me?
and says shes helping Chase in part because he promised not to hurt Quentin.
My Laurel wouldnt be that stupid, Quentin spits.
If treated deftly enough, Black Sirens going to be aninteresting character next year.
Oliver tries to outsmart him by sending John and Felicity out of state, instead of keeping them close.
They reluctantly leave, although they also worry that Chase has predicted that Oliver will act against his instincts.
(Two William references and now this?
No way we dont see that kid tonight.)

Then we revisit one of Olivers favorite concerns: His personal connections make him vulnerable.
Chase warns him that once hes on the transport, his followers will kill Olivers friends.
In a panic, he runs after the car, but Chase is already gone.
Like minds, he tells Oliver.
Umm, there were tiny differences there, ya wife killer.
Still, Oliver lets Chase hop into the helicopter.
As he flies away, he shouts, Ill see you on the boat!
At that moment, Nyssa swans in to coolly greet first Oliver, then Malcolm: Husband.
I assume you still have no title?
Malcolm isnotpleased, and neither is Nyssa when she learns that theyre going up against her sister.
(Oliver thought it would be better to tell her that in person, which is… Thats right.We have to go back, Kate er, Oliver!
They all recognize Olivers island and hope hell be along to rescue them.
He approaches a jail cell and states, I need your help.
Im glad you came back.
