It’s a race to the finish line as AIDA tries to escape her robot body and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Theyre not in a good way, unfortunately.
The Framework connection is draining the ships power, and theyre still not in contact with anyone.

Nevertheless, Yo-Yo stands firm.
Nothing changes until theyre able to rescue everyone (especially Mack) from AIDAs Matrix.
So she does the natural thing and shows up at Alistair Fitzs door with a gun.
Simmons is utterly rational about every single thing in life except Fitz.
Boy, this Framework saga has really put FitzSimmons relationship through the ringer, hasnt it?
Its just one psycho-sexual trauma after another.
Really cant wait to see how they handle all these issues back in the real world.
Plus, shes busy palling around with Coulson and telling him hes the real face of the resistance now.
Luckily, theyre able to find Simmons alive and well, though not quite in one piece.
Unfortunately, it really seems like Simmons is on the right track here.
Dont count on that happy reunion anytime soon.
With the team all together, Daisy and company head out for the location of Radcliffes back door.
They dont find what they expected, however.
Far from reveling in her victory, AIDA is distressed that Fitz hasnt returned.
So AIDA initiates the machine by herself.
The back door mix-up has increased tensions among the team.
But Coulson is, and his faith allows Daisy to realize she can quake the portal open.
Coulson volunteers to go first, just as Fitzs Hydra troops arrive and shoot him.
May wont let Coulson die, though.
She takes out the Hydra troops and reassures Coulson theyll be able to patch him up.
She does, and joins him in the real world.
Coulson grabs a nearby scalpel and prepares to finish off AIDA, once and for all.
So next up to bat is Simmons, but shes soon joined by a gun-wielding Fitz.
The emotional confrontation begins with Simmons reiterating that it was all a mistake, but Fitz isnt buying it.
So even in AIDAs take-away-big-regrets world, Fitz still has complicated daddy issues.
For her part, Simmons starts losing her patience with Frameowrk Fitz.
He tells Simmons that bringing Fitz here was the only way to save him.
Unfortunately, its not clear that it worked.
Upon re-entering the real world, Fitz is overwhelmed by the horror of what hes done.
Alone among the S.H.I.E.L.D.
agents, Mack has decided to stay in the Framework and live his dream life with his dream daughter.
