The superpowered race of Inhumans were first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on ABC’sAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,and nowInhumanswill focus on the leaders of that race, the Inhuman Royal Family.

At the top of the hierarchy is the Inhuman King, Black Bolt (Anson Mount), whose vocal powers are so fearsome he mostly remains silent so as not to cause unnecessary damage.

Unfortunately, that leaves an opportunity for the king’s wily brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon) to sow discontent and division among the Royal Family.Rounding out the castis Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak, Ellen Woglom as an undisclosed character, Sonya Balmores as Auran, and Mike Moh as Triton.

Inhumanswas originally slated as a film forsummer 2019, but now the story will straddle both sides of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The ABC premiere date was accompanied by the reveal of a new poster, seen above.
