This is certainly a wonderful call to get, and we were all really surprised and very excited.
Its a good way to start the day.
How does it compare to learning you got the nomination last year?
Look, last year, that was shocking.
I fell out of bed, then.
Thats the tradition, I guess.
I fell out of bed one more time.
Its a great experience.
I love the HFPA.
I couldnt be happier for Rami [Malek], some of the other nominees.
I love John Travolta.
Have you had a chance to speak to Sam [Esmail] or anyone else in the cast yet?
Well, its early.
Im in Los Angeles.
I texted Rami, but I havent heard back from him.
I just texted him congratulations.
How do you plan on celebrating today?
Well, were flying back to New York and gosh, I dont know.
I called family and woke everybody up.
My wife and I are here and were just giddy and beside ourselves and very excited.
I am so over the moon for her.
I really am so thrilled and couldnt be any more excited.
Have you had a chance to watchStranger Things?
Yeah, shes amazing in it.
Her performance is stunning.
Its very, very exciting.
Are you excited about any of the other nominees?
Honestly, I dont know everyone.
Hes certainly one of the reasons that I wanted to be an actor.
Is there anything else you want to add this morning?
Im very excited about the year ahead and cant wait to get back to work.
Do you know when youre supposed to get back to work on season 3?
April 10th is the start date.
