Fresh Kid Ice has died at the age of 53.
The rapper, who is of both Trinidadian and Chinese descent is credited as the first prominent Asian rapper.

Wons death was confirmed by his manager to multiple outlets.
My condolence goes out to the family, he began the note.
Fittingly, he added, We lost a legend.
A cause of death has not been made public.
Won had previously suffered two strokes, one in 2008 and one again in 2010.
In January of this year, he released a Chinaman Records compilation,Breaking Glass Ceilings.
