Last week, the Superman-Martian Manhunter conflict felt shoehorned into the premiere, but it feels more natural here. The dispute works because it fleshes these characters out and its easy to understand both sides of the conflict....
As you could expect, the Alien Amnesty Act is a pretty divisive issue. People in this world dont have much tolerance for others who look different, says Jonn. After a meeting at work, Kara flies off to meet President Marsdin at the airfield....
In the end, they decide Maggie will use her street contacts to find out more. Kara goes to see him and opens up about how she struggled with her powers at first. Tonight begins with Kara preparing Mon-El for Earth. Watching Mon-El, a.k.a. Mike, adjust to Earth is extremely enjoyable and makes the show even more charming. Surprise, surprise… Cadmus is responsible for supplying the bank robbers with the alien weapons. Cadmus is using Miner and his cohorts to sow fear and make people more willing to follow their orders....
However, change isnt easy, and for some, there are a few poignant bumps in the road. Rudy sticks his hand inside the wolfs body and something latches onto him. Alex is still processing her recent epiphany and at Maggies urging, she decides to tell Kara. The sisters go for a walk and Alex stutters her way through coming out to her sister....
Kara faces off against Cyborg Superman and Martian Manhunter fights a ghost from his past Kara vs. Cyborg Superman! Martian Manhunter vs. another White Martian! So, yes, this is mostly about revenge, which can be a weak motivation. For her, its not only about revenge but also the greater good, which is kind of scary....
